About SOGSD 2027
Amidst the deep integration of global energy transition and the technological revolution, smart oil and gas has become the core driver for high-quality development in the industry. As its inaugural event, the 2027 2nd International Conference on Smart Oil and Gas and Sustainable Development (SOGSD 2027) will be held in Xi'an, China, from May 14 to 16, 2027, aiming to establish a high-level platform for international cooperation and exchange. It will focus on the in-depth application and innovation of new-generation information technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, within the oil and gas sector.
Currently, China's oil and gas industry is at a critical juncture of "comprehensive deepening and integrated application," guided by the "Digital-Intelligent Oilfield" strategy to advance towards a new stage of intelligent and green development. This conference will bring together distinguished experts and scholars from top universities and research institutions worldwide, as well as industry elites, to discuss cutting-edge topics including smart oil and gas fields, large-scale models for oil and gas, and green low-carbon technologies. It seeks to foster deep integration across industry, academia, research, and application. We sincerely invite colleagues from around the globe to gather, share valuable insights, build consensus, and jointly chart the future for an open, efficient, and sustainable smart oil and gas industry.

All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be submitted to EI Compendex / Scopus for indexing.
